Den Norske Opera vælger Maconomy

09-05-2006

Maconomy has signed a contract with the Norwegian Opera about implementing licenses for 600 users. The Norwegian Opera’s productions are controlled as individual projects and hence the Opera wants to use Maconomy’s standard Consulting solution for resource planning, finance and project management. Maconomy expects the implementation to be finalized before the end of the 1st. quarter of 2007.
This announcement does not affect Maconomy’s financial expectations for 2006.

About the Norwegian Opera.
The Norwegian Opera is Norways’ largest music and stage art institution. On June 15 1999 the Norwegian Parliament agreed on building a new opera house, which is expected to be finished in 2008. The Norwegian Opera is organised as a public limited company, which is owned 90% by the Norwegian state and 10% by the Norwegian Opera Foundation. The board members are appointed directly by the owners and the employees are represented via direct election. The vision for the Norwegian Opera is that it must be a leading European arena for music drama and dance art performed for a constantly larger audience.
